Buzz and Sir Richard Branson fly in formation with WhiteKnightTwo

Buzz was a guest of Sir Richard Branson aboard a Virgin Airbus A320, that flew in formation with Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo. The spaceship was hitched between the twin fuselages of WhiteKnightTwo, its mothership and launch platform, and landed at Virgin America’s new home at San Francisco International Airport in Terminal 2.

A trip on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo equates to about the first minute of Buzz’s 8 day trip to the moon and back and is proportionately that exciting. Still nice photo of the plane and WhiteKnightTwo flying over the golden gate bridge in San Francisco – btw I hope it is not a photoshop’d construction or I’d begin to start doubting the integrity of the rest of this project 🙂
