The Founding Flyers Gala is at the site of one of the most extraordinary private aviation collections in the U.S., featuring one-of-a-kind aircraft from America’s Golden Age of Aviation (1920′s-1930′s) including NASA’s first aircraft, the first airplane in which a pope flew and a 1927 Ford Trimotor restoration of America’s oldest existing airliner. Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart are among the many notable aviators who flew these rare aircraft.
