Posted at 19:58h, 09 JanuaryIt’s great that Dr. Aldrin cares enough about this school to visit. At a book signing several months ago at the National Air and Space Museum, I mentioned to Dr. Aldrin that I was a teacher. He asked where, and when I replied “Fairfax County” he wanted to know if I’d visited Aldrin E.S. Actually, I once taught summer school there, and showed the students the photograph he was kind enough to sign for me when I was in elementary school myself!

Happy New Year!

Posted at 22:12h, 29 DecemberThanks for including these pictures on your website. The picture you asked me to take (the first one) turned out great. I think you credited the wrong namesake school. These were taken in Reston, Virginia.
We look forward to celebrating your bitrhday with you on January 20th. Wishing you and your family a safe and Happy New Year – Valerie Aber
