Dear Mr. Aldrin
We are three students from the Complutense University of Madrid, and we are making a documentary about the future of space. The project has an academic propose and is nonprofit. We would distribute it to colleges and universities. We have the institutional support of the Faculty of Media and Communication Science and the School of Aeronautical Engineering.
Our film is centered on Eduardo Lurueña, the first Spanish civilian in space, who you honored by selecting him for the Axe Apollo Space Achademy. We also count with the collaboration of Pedro Duque, Michael Lopez-Alegria, Aleksei Leonov and Valentina Tereshkova, among others.
We would be honored to have a brief chat with you during your next trip to London between the 20 and 23 of March. We only ask for a short interview, to speak about the importance of space programs. We would be thrilled if you would share with us your vision of the future; your opinion concerning the possibilities of new missions to the Moon, missions to Mars and space tourism.
Your opinion would be infinitely valuable for our film, and it would give us the opportunity to portray the view of one of America’s leading astronauts and, possibly, the view of an entire generation.
Thank you in advance for your attention We remain at your disposal for any further information or queries

Can’t wait to meet the living legend that is Buzz Aldrin, I’m flying in from Ireland for the day just to shake his hand. Have there been any further revelations with the autograph fee?
