It is hard to overstate the magnitude of Buzz Aldrin’s achievements: He is a best-selling author, a global science ambassador and, of course, a pioneering astronaut who took centre stage in one of the most important and revelatory moments in human history. This is a man whose footprints are embossed onto the surface of the moon. As we said – hard to overstate.
