    Hi Buzz,
I had the honor of being at EAA air venture last week and was in the audience for the reunion. It sure was a once in a lifetime experience! To hear you guys talk about the Gemini and Apollo missions first hand was amazing and I will never forget it. I’m amazed at the technology you guys had back then and how forward thinking you are. It truly was a great honor to be in the presence of so many great American hero’s! Thanks to all of you for coming to EAA Oshkosh for your reunion. The only thing I wish we could have done is ask questions. I am so interested in what was said about the dark side of the moon. Why was there no pics of the sky from the dark side. It’s sounds like it was amazing. You will always be an inspiration to us all.
    God speed, Tim

Buzz, You are my favorite American of all time. I just love the way you roll. You are still pushing and speaking to the country about how important NASA is, how much we learn from pushing our limits. My father, a retired physicist, idolizes you guys. He is 77 and on borrowed time after fighting CNS lymphoma. He built rockets in the 1950s with friends. He always has wanted to go in to space. I once asked him at age 70 “dad, would you go up in the space shuttle?”. Instantly… “YES! HELL YES!”. IF you get a chance… send this hero a note telling him he is our hero, my hero. His team built the first proton therapy unit for treating brain tumors. Spent his whole career and Fermilab here in Batavia. A note saying “your mission is to hang in there!” would make his YEAR! He’s been a trooper. 916 Ray St. Geneva, IL 60134. Thank you for your service to this country and never stop pushing for more, more science, more knowledge!!!! LOVE THE FIRST SPACE SELFIE!!!!!!!!! 🙂
