Silverdell Books Q&A event at Westholme School Theatre

Buzz Aldrin will be visiting the impressive Croston Theatre at Westholme School where he will regale and delight audiences with stories of his extraordinary life. This is a rare opportunity to meet one of the biggest legends of modern history on Thursday, June 2.
A book signing will follow after the discussion.

Signing Guidelines:

If you have purchased the book from somewhere else you can still get your book signed, we just ask that you make a purchase in our store of equal or greater value to that of the book.

  • -Buzz will only autograph the new book “No Dream is Too High”
  • -He will NOT sign any memorabilia, photos, space related items, other books authored or not authored by him.
  • -He will not personalize and will sign his name only.
  • -We allow photos while he is signing but we will not pose for pictures or allow anyone behind the table to take a photo.
  • -Each venue will decide if there is a limit to how many books you may purchase. This is at the discretion of the venue.

Great night but wrong that people were having up to 12 books signed to see for profit on e-bay. Profit was not the purpose of attending, meeting a legend was enough

Doing a 300 mile round trip to see you in Blackburn-seems a small effort compared to a round trip to the moon! X

Please, ask Dr Aldrin if he would like to come to York my home city in Northern England, it is a very historic and beautiful city and indeed Neil Armstrong visited some years ago. We also have the Elvington Air Museum which tells the story of the WW2 bomber base as it was then. I would like to show Dr Aldrim(my all time hero) around all these wonderful sites.

So pleased you’re coming to the NW. As a 6 year old I remember the moon landing being shown on tv and being told by my dad I was watching history in the making 🙂
